Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Statement
The core of Qualiskills is made up of people with various cultures, viewpoints, and experiences.
At Qualsskills, we recognise that being a diverse and selective College helps us fulfil our obligation to make a difference in the lives of our students. We are motivated by our beliefs in all we do.
We want to create a culture at the college where we treat each person as an individual, fairly, and consistently.
By encouraging a culture of respect and dignity and vigorously combating prejudice, should it ever occur, we work within the letter and the spirit of the Equality Act of 2010.
Through proper education, training, and development, we will remove needless obstacles for all of our students and employees.
We will keep encouraging all of our staff members, managers, and leaders to act in a way that upholds the values of inclusion, equality, and diversity.
Equality and Diversity at Qualsskills
Equality and Diversity is one of Qualsskills’s core values.
In addition to making sure that students are equipped for employment in a variety of labour markets, we also make sure that staff and students reflect the demographics of the area.
We support constructive behaviour and oppose any and all unfavourable attitudes.
Equality
Being treated fairly and equally according to one’s needs, especially those related to one’s ethnicity, gender, handicap, religion or worldview, sexual orientation, or age, is what it means to be treated with equality.
Diversity
By encouraging an inclusive culture for all staff and students, diversity attempts to recognise, accept, and cherish people’s differences in order for them to participate and reach their full potential.
Promoting equality and diversity
By fighting discrimination, developing an inclusive culture, collaborating with local communities, ensuring equal access to learning and enrichment opportunities, assisting staff and students in realising their full potential, supporting national campaigns, and treating all staff and students fairly, we promote equality and diversity.
