Support for students affected by the rising cost of living
The escalating expense of living in the UK is something that many of you are aware of. In order to provide additional financial help for students who might require it, we have been working hard in partnership with Quals Skills students.
The additional support described below is what we are announcing:
To make it easier to obtain student counselling and practical help from within Quals Skills in one area, we have launched a new Cost of Living Hub. Students may access a range of information on the hub, such as how to borrow text books, computers and learn who to contact for assistance with housing and financial concerns.
We know that some learners may be experiencing anxiety at this time. Please keep in mind that our support services are there to assist you. If you need assistance, you should not hesitate to ask:
Students who are experiencing financial or other challenges can obtain help from our team of student support and wellbeing specialists.
Student Advisors can give aid with academic challenges, mental health issues, and general welfare.
If you have concerns concerning financial or money management, contact one of our wellness & welfare Advisors.
Additionally, you have access to the Quals Skills Mon- Fri (9am -5Pm) Student Assistance Line (020 3795 9904), which is available to UK students and provides free, confidential wellbeing assistance.
